I don’t know if people will agree with me, but Vancouverites can be a pretty mellow crowd.  I have sometimes been shocked at the lack of enthusiasm at some of the shows I have attended…no matter HOW stellar the actual performance actually is.

Before I took on the SAHM gig, I had a part time job with the South Granville BIA….that is a Business Improvement Association.  It is a non profit group with a board representing the local businesses.   They work towards showcasing and marketing as well as dealing with any problems the area may face.

We spent today at the Vancouver Aquarium since Adam is marine life mad and it was his birthday.
Despite the controversy that hangs around the facility and the various tales of miscarrying dolphins and stillborn whales…..I still love the opportunity for people to get up close and personal with such a stunning variety of marine life.

Yesterday was NOT a good day at the House of Crunch….lots of depressing family stuff.
I also thought I would check out the Federal Government offices they had opened to accepting passport application in Burnaby in between the rest of the running around.

I have never heard of this, but apparently they are coming to town on June 9!
Having been a cat owner for a long time, I have entertained myself with much cat “torture” over the years.   I have always felt that cats never enjoyed ‘performing’ and therefore would be humiliated by something like this.
