A Bit About B

Hey ladies… I want to thanks Kerry for letting me join your wonderful little community here.

I have been “blogging” for a long time, before it was even called “blogging”. I have been designing, creating and writing my own websites since 1997 (I even ran my own company doing websites for a few years). I’ve owned many a URL along the way but decided to be a cheap-o-chick and have stuck with blogger since. I have one main blog called The Love Blog, which I recently renovated and am switching into a photo blog primarily, I am a Flickr addict and drive everyone around me crazy with my digital camera. I also dabble in poetry (creative writing) and have a blog wiredSecret for that. I also started a little blog called The Unity Project which encourages people all over the world to submit photos, and it has been a wonderful thing to see all the contributions.

On the personal side, I was born in Vancouver, and I am turning 34 in March. I don’t have any children (yet, but hope to one day). I was married once, when I was 22, and divorced at 25. I then lived nearly 7 years with a musician (I’ve lived with/dated quite a few), and we had our own music studio in our home, and did the web company as well, and released an album in February 2006. I left that relationship in April 2006, sadly, it was necessary, as it was not a healthy relationship. In my blog I chronicled the very personal journey of healing that I have had over the last year. I now live in Vancouver and manage an apartment complex and do creative work on the side, and go out dancing frequently with my boyfriend.

I have always been active in various causes, last year I blogged for 24 hours straight in a Blogathon and raised money for World Wildlife, and I also walked for the SPCA (I have 3 cats, 2 of which came from the SPCA).
