Getting to know your Neighbourhood

Before I took on the SAHM gig, I had a part time job with the South Granville BIA….that is a Business Improvement Association. It is a non profit group with a board representing the local businesses. They work towards showcasing and marketing as well as dealing with any problems the area may face.
Their websites area great way to check out the local retail and other businesses in a neighbourhood.

oh! thanks for the reminder! We’ve been talking about joining our local chamber and BIA for some time. Just checked out their webpage and see our city is putting on a BLUEberry festival in August……would be the perfect venue for BLUEfur.com! lol
We’re doing a local venue next month and will be giving out BLUE cotton candy!
