Concrete is Exciting!

If you are a kid.
Saturday was the Ocean Concrete 9th Annual Open House, down at Granville Island.
It was a toss up between this and the Kerrisdale Carnival. (for eastsiders, we sure do a lot of westside stuff!)
The day was sunny and warm and put everyone is a good mood, so we headed on down.
Adam loved it. Caity…..not so much.
But it was a great idea and fun to watch the kids swarming all over the huge vehicles. There was also a guided tour, but we didn’t get a chance, since we had a pee emergency and Caity just wanted to draw pictures and was sulking.
Granville Island was crowded because of the sunshine, but still fun.

Glad to see I’m not the only one posting about Granville Island. That sounds like a fun outing, for little boys at least. You have two beautiful children.

Wonderful for the kids to be able to visit Ocean Concrete, the trucks and machinery! I like hearing of good ‘community’ companies giving back like this
