Crunchy (Kerry) asked me to join Wetcoast Women after reading a comment I wrote on Stroller Derby and I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Marita and I live in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood of Vancouver with my 11 month old son and husband. I’m a writer and my husband is a theatre artist, so you’ll probably notice that I’ll be plugging various readings and plays, but I’ll try not over do it! I’m relatively new to blogging. I started Dear Atticus soon after my son was born to keep friends and family updated. I recently started a second site, All Things Said & Done, to cover events and news related to the publication of my first book of poetry. I’m honoured to be invited to join this online community and am excited to see how it grows.

wooo hooo i dabble in poetry babble too… never attempted to publish it though, gave that up after one too many reject slips. but that was 10 years ago… so maybe the market has changed?
