Spring Has Sprung

As the flowers pop up everywhere and the trees sparkle in their new and budding greenery, the urge to be out doors grows stronger.
Mom and I like to take the kids up to Central Park to see the baby ducks.
We also enjoy walks along the Fraser River.
As the weather continues to warm up, a fave family thing that we pretty much do all summer is head down to Spanish Banks with a picnic for dinner and play along the sea edge and watch the sun set.
We also enjoy walks down at Vanier Park to watch the boats and the kite flyers.
What about you?
Where are your favourite Spring and Summer haunts?

Hi Crunchy,
One of the walks my group likes to do when it gets warmer is out at Steveston. We walk along the dyke from Garry Point Park back towards the airport. The view is magnificent, looking towards the mountains. You even pass a tiny farm with the strangest looking cows. It’s gravel underfoot and you have to watch for cyclists but very pleasant. Then we go to the pier for lunch and look at the fishing boats.
Regards

New Brighton Park and Pool. Even if they aren’t swimming, the park and little beach is a nice place to hang out.
