So….my child has experienced two whole hours of Kindergarten so far. Next week should be ‘full’ half days….we can only hope.
They suuuuure ease them in gently. He is chomping at the bit.
All the kids of all ages seem quite happy to be back at school around here. With so many activities not existing during the summer due to the strike…at least now they all have something to do.
My school days are doubly busy as I am looking after my neighbours children for four days of the week. This is exhausting me. It is just full on kids for four days and nothing else. I don’t know how I will do the bigger I get in this pregnancy. I am tired already!
Today, despite the weather being gorgeous…I am spending the time cleaning.
Mind you, our children are on lockdown due to their deteriorating behavior. So we are missing the fair at the Avalon Dairy Farm. This is a shame, as this is a cute local event that we usually try to attend every year. Everyone in Vancouver should go and check it out.
We have some more members listed on our directory..go visit and say hi.
I have opened it up a bit to our more ’southern’ wetcoasters. I think those of us living up and down the Pacific Northwest have lots in common and it is a great way to make new friends from all over. I would love if anyone knows of more bloggers hailing from further up north or the the interior too. I am thrilled with the ladies we have….I love reading all the adventures with wildlife etc and the photos make me soooooo jealous.
Because of a cool friend of mine over at Fantasy & Sci-Fi Lovin’ Blog, I have received a copy of “Yellowknife” a novel by Steve Zipp, to review. So far I am thoroughly enjoying it. I will let you know when the review is up.
If anyone else knows of some good local talent to uptalk…go right ahead here on WCW!
Ok, I must return to my cleaning.
