Buying Local: Moody Bee

Posted by Scattered Mom | April 27, 2008 .

A few days ago I was at the grocery store and some lip balm caught my eye. Like I need more lip balm, but for some women it’s shoes…for me it’s lip stuff. I’m addicted to it.

“Hey is this any good?” I picked one up and asked the cashier. She nodded emphatically.
“That stuff is so yummy that I try very hard not to eat it.”

I threw the tube in with my groceries, because who can resist a good lip balm? Besides, my lips have been so dry and cracked lately, maybe it will help. Other stuff I’ve tried is either very medicine like, or waxy. And the lips are STILL dry. Nothing has helped.

Was I ever in for a treat!

This stuff is awesome; luxurious, long lasting, and yes, it’s hard not to eat because the peppermint vanilla flavor is just sooooo yummy. The best thing though is that my lips are no longer dry and cracked! They healed! I was so pleased that I zipped an e-mail off to the Moody Bee and told them how much I love their product. L-O-V-E-D.

Moody Bee is made in South Surrey by Krista Moody. You can visit their site to order some yourself ($4.49 including shipping!) or find a retailer near you. I think I need another tube to keep at work now……
