A Visit to a Future Shop in Burnaby

Witness a tiny microcosm of life in ‘Metro’ Vancouver….formerly known as the GVRD.

Witness me parking the car as far as I can from what I know will be stupidity.

Witness me being proved correct.

Witness us walking (the kids and I) through parking lot to witness car beside us trying to get in to lot being thwarted by two cars on either side of the road backing up slowly with one driver being completely oblivious to the car behind it, the blare of the horn and us all stopping and staring as she slams slowly into said car.

Hee.

The slammer pulls quickly back into the spot and jumps out.  The slammed parks car in middle of the road blocking the now incredulous car driver beside me and jumps out to look at dent in side of her car.

They were all still there when finished our shopping in Future Shop.  Seriously.

Oh and thanks Future Shop for only having the MOST EXPENSIVE brand of the product I was searching for.

I had to buy it as I really didn’t want to risk another electronics store and it’s parking.   Not with my children’s lives at stake.

Oh and thanks wacky senior in your weird little car for blowing right past the stop sign and missing myself and my kids by inches, not to mention the other three cars that were dutifully waiting their turn.

I love this place.
