Postcards From the Other Coast
I am on the other side of the country right now and I thought it might be interesting to do some writing for Wet Coast Women from the East Coast.
I don’t have a lot to report so far except that again I am jealous of the housing prices here. It is amazing what kind of house I could have in Nova Scotia for a modest down payment and a mortgage payment much lower than our rent out west. We wouldn’t need to move a hellish commute away from work either. Sigh. I must admit that the ability to throw my son into the backyard (about the size of a park) is promoting a little bit of envy as well.
I expect to post a couple of times a week with some pictures and recommendations to anyone planning to visit Nova Scotia. Since we have lovely built in babysitters I am hoping that Anthony and I can get to review some restaurants as well as other touristy spots. (We haven’t lived here for 10 years so we play tourist when we come home.) If there is anything in particular you would like to know or want us to check out while we are here let me know in the comments and we will try our best.

Looking forward to hearing about a place I have never been. Yes, housing prices. It does make one envious I’m sure. Have fun.
