Enjoy supporting the arts?

Check out The Vagabond Players take on ‘Evelyn Strange’ at the Bernie Legge Theatre in Queens Park, New Westminster.

Set in 1950s New York—partly, the author admits, because of the charm of the era, and partly because “it’s a bit easier to stage a mystery in an era where people don’t have cell phones.” Opening in a luxury opera box where Nina Ferrer and Perry Spangler are settling down for a showing of Richard Wagner’s Siegfried. In wanders Evelyn Strange—or, at least, she thinks she’s Evelyn Strange. Possessing only a case of amnesia and a mysterious notebook, it’s up to Strange and Spangler to find out just who she is and how she ended up watching The Ring Cycle in the first place. Naturally, of course, there’s a secret that needs revealing. What that secret is, though, is anyone’s guess.

The Vagabond Players consist of an great group of local ‘thespians’ with a great deal of stage cred to their collective names.

I don’t get out enough to support them, so I will ask you lot to do so for me!

I saw the show last night.  It was really good.  Very entertaining and great acting from the small cast..only four people in the show.

The run finishes on April 5th….We all need to support all the non profit Theatre groups out there..these people are very talented and deserve a lot of respect for all the hard work that goes into these productions.
