Word to the Wise
I posted earlier about my blog being hacked. Earlier this week, I was retrieving some posts from Google’s cache, and hanging out at the Momocrats’ live chat about the Kentucky (boo!) and Oregon (yay!) primaries, and mentioned my blog was hacked. John J. was in there and said this has been a recent problem with wordpress.
The next day, I logged into one of my gmail accounts and found out someone had hacked my address book. Yes, the passwords on both accounts were the same. Coincidence? Maybe, but maybe not. So if you got an email from me about cheap electronics, please disregard and accept my apologies.
The Mastermind has been looking into this. And he found where they got in. There’s a security concern with Wordpress 2.5, which is addressed in Wordpress 2.5.1.
Word to the wise: IF you are using Wordpress 2.5, upgrade to 2.5.1 IMMEDIATELY. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. It’s a free upgrade – just do it.

Ugh..yeah I managed to get CC upgraded with that automatic plug in to the 2.5.1..but it won’t work with WCW for some reason and I just haven’t sat down to do it the old fashioned way..because that always terrifies me.
Sigh…
but after CC was hacked….I SO hate it…
