With the rain cutting short my camping adventures, I returned home to watch the Olympic Closing Ceremonies.
Apart from the weird Logan's Run bit with the glow in the dark floating guys....RENEW RENEW!!!...it was very entertaining...very colourful and again indicative of what we expected from them.

On Thursday, when I went into surgery, my lense prescription was about 20/600 (-4.75 diopters).
On Tuesday, when I went in to have the temporary contact bandages removed, my vision was 20/30.
And its just gotten better every day. Unfortunately, for the state of California, it hasn't.

There were no doodles for Canada Day on Google.ca this year...something that all the Canucks noticed.
It's long been a Google tradition, a wink to Canucks: A Canada Day version of the website's logo, illustrated with Maple Leaves, a loon and even a beaver.
